- Ben Grabau Added September 09, 2017★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Tangenong provides good accommodation at a reasonable price in Hepburn Springs. The new owners are very accommodating and we're willing to haggle on our week long stay. We were welcomed with a bottle of sparking wine and the warm glow of the wood heater burning. Having stayed once before, we were pleased to find that new appliances had been installed since our last visit, as the previous ones hadn't been kept clean or maintained, a definite welcome improvement. The rear cottage backs onto a beautiful bush setting overlooking the spring trails of Hepburn Springs. Being rained in a few times during our stay, we were little annoyed to find the the TV remote only worked once out of every 30 presses and the fridge was a noisy distraction, but overall, it was a lovely place to be rained in if you had to be.
